Im trying to get the 4 throttle body vaccum lines hooked up correctly.  Out of the 4 lines, i have the upper 2 hooked up correctly.  out of the lower 2 lines, one goes to the fuel regulator vacuum and T's off to the map sensor- The other line is where im lost.  Is this line important or can it be plugged? I dont want to loose any boost if ya know what i mean...  THANX

you can buy a new vac harness from the dealer for 30-40 bucks. why dont you just buy one of those?  you need a brand new one with new rubber fittings on it. the old ones are probably dried out and cracking so you will lose boost.

The "other" line plugs into the fuel evap purge solenoid - it's on the rear of the plenum, across from the MAP sensor. Should have one line coming in from under the plenum, and another line going down the firewall to the rear of the car.

wait,  doesnt the thicker vaccum line go to the evap purge solenoid?  im lost .  I see the line that runs down the firewal, it isnt connected, should this be connected back to the throttle body or does it go to the purge solenoid?

GutlessSupreme

connects to the solenoid, then the solenoid connects to the TB. Yes, it should be the thick line. That one actually doesn't go under the plenum, sorry, rather over the top of it, with the EGR line.

Does That Come with the checkvalve and the whole nine yards?

Yeah, I just couldn't figure out a way to work in the one member who claimed that adding a valance to his lightbulb kept it from overheating...

GangstGP

it plugs into the TB and all 4 lines go to their locations. includes all rubber fittings on both sides and a FPR tee. no check valve.

I would not drive my new car until my new one was on. there is no point, they must be new and SUPER tight so they dont pop off. even if they dont pop off they still sit there and seep out. if you pull on the fpr tee and it slides off without streching and yanking, its toast.

Do you think silicone would seal them and keep from leaking?

GangstGP

put some on there and when it dries, pull it and if it comes apart easy then well...

best way for temporary fix until you buy a new one is pull out the plastic line and take a toothpick and apply a bead of JB Weld around it to kind of bulge the rubber out. gotta let it dry fully while its apart though.
