well i blew the turbo a couple months ago when i was idleing the car in the driveway. just got around to sending it out for a rebuild a couple weeks ago. talked to the people today and they said that upon looking at it they found that it was already rebuilt once. this combined with the huge amount of shaft play makes it not even worth rebuilding they said. so now i'm screwed and i have to do something to get this car back together. no way in hell i'm spending $1100 for a gt28rs. i swear its always the worst case scenario with this car

That sucks. I saw a turbo that was pulled out of our cars on ebay the other day for 50$, I almost bought it to have a spare. Dont know if it sold or not, maybe it will be relisted.

thats prob the route i'll go, and i know some people on here have spares. i got a guy who is a garrett dealer shopping around a bit, we'll see what he comes up with
