I wasn't sure where to put this, but since it's directly TGP specific, I thought it'd fit.

One year ago TODAY I became the proud owner of my 89 TGP. My best friend and I drove from New Ulm, Minnesota to Kent, Ohio, a 14 hour drive; we left a year ago yesterday and the next day drove home. In the year, I have gone through EVERY kind of problem and emotion with this car, but it has all been worth it.

I bought her from AirTGP, who hasn't been back online much, if at all, since the sale. It's a shame; he's a great guy. Here's the original ad that was listed on the page: http://www.tgpforums.com/index.php?topic=2763.0

Not sure how many people want to read it, but it's surreal and bittersweet to look back and see where it all started, atleast for me it is. Anyways, it's been a year today, and many MANY upgrades later, she runs perfect. I have plenty of pictures of my baby if anyone cares to see what she looks like, or if anyone wants to see a mod I've made lol. Hell, I even installed a CB to get around the forthcoming cell phone-while-driving-ban lol. Looks good and has a bit of range!

Ok, I'm done!

Thanks! Yeah i called my dad and reminded him, and his response: "So? What...did you have sex with it or something?" LOL...I scared him when I said no comment lol.

Yeah plenty of past problems, and plenty of problems after I bought it...but now it's 100% great. Thanks man! Just shows that with time, patience, and a wad of cash you can turn a downer into a dream. Oh, and what he listed for his best time is WAY off of what it does now :icon_twisted: :icon_cool:

Thanks Nick! Just for that I'll upload the partner to that last pic. I left it off before lol...

I like these last two pics alot, they brought out how bright the paint really is...and in the winter months you really can't tell :icon_frown: But soon, hopefully, that will all change!

Oh what the hell; here's a couple more lol!

This one's under our local mall, right next to my buddy's 1990 Taurus SHO

And this is the VERY first picture I ever took of my TGP. It was the first time I had ever seen it, and like after the first 3 minutes of me drooling, I managed to flip up my camera phone and snap this picture.

Well, that's what I have for now...more to come! Requests? Thanks guys!

Just use some fine grit sandpaper and polish the face of the tip.
