Would it be possible to disconnect the Turbo both electrically and mechanically so its not used. Its emitting oil into the exhaust due to bad internal seals and smokin up a storm when I come to a light. When I get the funds ($275) I will remove and send out for overhaul. In the eantime I have to use the car.Any input will be appreciated. Rob

Are you sure the turbo is the cause...My car was smoking and that was the first thing I thought.  Turned out to be my injectors...who'd a thought.  Pull the hose off the intake (after the turbo) and see if it still smokes.  I don't want tell you what to do...but you got to check the little things before you go pulling the turbo and all that.  Its a b!tch...I've had mine off more than once.

Also, check the oil return line.
Carnies. Circus folk. Nomads, you know. Smell like cabbage. Small hands.

"The Former TGP Owner with the Website" EDIT: That now drives a JEEP.

Pulling off the intake isn't conclusive. the turbo can leak (and typically does) throught the exhaust housing.
