I have a couple situations going on, was wondering if anyone wanted to help.  What kind of injectors should i use with this 01 3100 topend. it has roller rockers, bigger ports and bigger exhaust valves.    How should i get this thing tuned with the right injectors , about 13psi, and gt28rs on the way?  thanks

You can go two different ways. Chip tuning or have somebody tune one for you. The other way is to trick the map sensor and use a RRFPR. If you go FPR route you will need a HP fuel pump. Can't recommend one. Walbro (the favorite) isn't worth putting in your tank. :icon_sad: My second one in 3 years is bad already. Unfortunately Walbro supplies pumps to allot of vendors. I am presently trying to find one they didn't make.  If your just running normal pressure there probably ok.

Injector size around 30#, plugs AR472 work good. 13# of boost with that turbo, BE CAREFULL and sneak up on it. ;)

Have fun

ebay, I have bought about 8 sets and alll have worked perfect. You should test them for operating properly before you install them.

Lots of people don't list the P/N, you have to ask them and then compare to this site. Some injectors have two numbers like Bosch and Ford or GM. Get both numbers.

http://users.erols.com/srweiss/tableifc.htm#BOSCH

After you confirm by this site(I have only found one P/N that wasen't entirely correct but that was because ther were two GM numbers with the same Bosch number) google both numbers to prove they are what you want.

Heres a set that looks good

Heres a P/N for a good 28.5 injector 280155931 disc multech 2.

ok, ive got the engine stuff situated now.   Is there anything serious i should replace while the motor is out?  I was trying to read the BRAKES ARGG post but it is like 9 pages... i remember before i parked the car a couple weeks back there was a buzzing noise when i hit the brake , is that the PM thing you guys are ripping about?  Should i replace something before droppin the motor back in?  thanks

TGP Nick

Its a long but good read lol... YES get your PMIII fixed and working perfectly before putting it back together... it is prolly much easier to work on teh brakes with everything out of the way.  Find what is wrong and fix it!  Good luck

Yeah, I just couldn't figure out a way to work in the one member who claimed that adding a valance to his lightbulb kept it from overheating...

The car stops descent , but what does PMIII stand for, where do i get a new one and is it going to make this buzzing abs crap work the way its supposed to?  Thanks !

TGP Nick

TGP Nick

You can get a brand new PMIII from Prior Reman for $500 IIRC.... it was on TPS Garage- you're gonna have to find it on Kenny's site.

Don't think you want a new one. As I remember the were over 2k if you can still get a new one. Most guys go with a Prior rebuilt. http://www.priorreman.com/
They also have the accumlator and the rear pump housing (machined from a billet) for sale. The rebuilt unit is in the 700+ range and seems to keep going up.

Warrenty is excellent should you have trouble with one of there units. I'am on #3.
