:?: Would the Auto Xray diagnostic tool be worth the money to diagnosis intermittent problems with my '90 TGP?

Has anyone used it?  Does it work as advertised?  Sounds like a useful tool, but I don't always belive what I read in the advertising.

Any feedback would be helpful.  Links listed below:

I got one for mine, works okay, for some reason doesn't show air temp,
or ABS codes, but shows other sensors fine. I got the model with all
the cables for OBDII, etc. so it will be usefull on cars going forward, got mine off ebay. maybe its was my lack of experience, but it didn't help me
diagnose bad coil pack, so it won't find all problems

i got the little hand held unit form walmart for $19.99 and it gave the same exact codes and the dealers $100,000+ unit!!!!! My question is what makes the autoxray better other than being able to interface with other makes?

The Xray unit does more than show trouble codes, example, you can read the volts of the O2 sensor. Before i had the Xray, my car was running poor, no codes were being set, but with voltmeter, saw O2 sensor was bad.
another example, one person using ohm meter found a ground wire
from the ECM was bad, so even though O2 sensor was good, the ECM was
reading to lean condition, An Xray scanner would have shown that quickly.
