turn signals

turn signals dont work at all.  how do i get steering colum apart.  i think i saw somewhere that the problem is in there.  please help.

Take a small screwdriver and carefully pry the steering wheel controls out. Make sure you don't pry on the buttons. Then take the nut off the steering shaft. Get a steering wheel puller and take the wheel off. You'll see the contacts for the turn signal switch. Clean them real good with rubbing alchohol. You may need to bend them slightly so they make good contact.

Then put dielectric grease all over them. :)

Yes! Jud is right. dielectric grease! I did mine without and I am now re-doing it because of that.
