Cavalier - Clunk?

Hey, this isnt a TGP, but its a 3.1 V6 1994 Chevy Cavalier im lookin at to buy. Its in imaculent shape. And it has an issue id like to figure out. If you gas is fairly hard it goes CLUNK/POP and u can feel it under ur feet. And when u brake, u hear it CLUNK/POP back into place. Im not seeing any aparent broken mounts under the car when i looked. The car has 76,000 Original miles on it and runs and drive great except for that little issue. Any ideas??

My buddy had an early 90's Cavalier, non Z24, but when his CV joint went bad ( I beleive thats what he said it was), it made the same noises.

Tranny or motor mount, posibly a engine cradle mount.

engine cradle mount eh? Are those replaceable? and where exactly do i look for damage?

Under the car. You will see 2 lateral, front to back, steel crossings, and 2 more going side to side. That is your engine cradle. at the front and the back of this you will see 1 bolt going vertical into the uni-body of the car. Take a jack and gently start jacking up the ENGINE CRADLE about 2-4 inchs away from the cradle bolt. If it moves alot, then the bushings are shot. if it moves a small amount, then it is fine, and check the others.
