That was almost as good as the 1989 Grand Prix commercial!  Why don't the car companies make commercials like this anymore?  All of everything out there is sooo boring nowadays....  Anyone know where I can get the song in the background on MP3?

you don't see commercials like that anymore, because car companies don't take pride in their vehicles these days as they used to. Sad really, but that's how I feel about it...
and no, I don't know about gettin an MP3 of that.

About that other commercial, I love how whenever you see an old GP commercial, they always show a 5 speed GP... I have personally never seen a 5 speed GP in real life, only on the internet... and I have seen a LOT of GPs...lol

Yeah its sad.  If the American auto companies want to get their sales back, they need to take a look back at commercials like these and bring back that feeling of excitement and take things back to the way they used to be.

If American car companies want sales back, they need to learn a little about how to make more HP per displacement... it's sad that all these jap cars with little 4 bangers can blow most american V6s away stock. Then GM drops the camaro/firebird.... can't figure out how to make a V6 that really has any balls except a few, that you are gonna pay out the ass for.... and all 4 bangers that GM makes suck ass for the most part, except the cobalt SS which I kinda like, and it was actually finally a good competetive car in the sport compact market unlike the cav and sunfire.... People want performance, and sadly, american cars can't really provide that anymore at a decent price... which is why people go for the imports, cuz they can go fast, and not choke when they pass by a gas station... just my little rant,  a little off topic, but I wanted to get it out there...lol
