So we had a halfway decent day yesterday and I wanted to finally get started on some of my winter cleaning plans for the TGP. So I started with something easy yeasterday and cleaned my washer reservoir as it was nasty... Turned out pretty nice...

I just used an SOS pad, some degreaser and a rag and water and all the dirt and grime fell right off it :)

And while doing this I noticed this wire that I have never been able to figure out what it's for, my old Prix had it and my moms 91 Regal has it...

I was assuming it might have something to do with the fuel pump maybe as an aux way to turn it on without turning the car on maybe as it is near the relay for it, but I am not sure, anyone know what this wire is for?

What degreaser did you use??

Also, which wire are you talking about?  If you are asking about the red wire with the small, light gray connector, that is used for testing the fuel pump.

Because you have pride in your car......a lot of people just don't get that.

most people it is to get from A to B and that is as far as they care to go.   To others it is a lifestyle.
