The seats tell me, unless he changed them.

The seats, door fabric, light and wiper pods, and black trim around the headlamps.  There are many more differences, but that is all I could see in the pictures.

It's an '89 by the seats...and I've confirmed it by the VIN number. This car was listed sometime within the last year and is still in the same part of CA that it was in when I first wrote down the VIN.

aside from the seats and fabrics, the wiper switches were different from the two production years as well, although you cannot see them all that well, I'm pretty sure those are from an 89.
