What would cause no spark, no power to the injectors?

Things tested/swapped
Fuel pump relay NEW
Fuses Checked out GOOD
Pump Primes
Injector harness has no power (checked with a noid light)
Grounded out number one sparkplug/wire (no spark)
Car cranks free and shows no sign of wanting to start

I would basically like to know the relations between the two inop concerns.  Like if parts X & Y dont have power from Z then your C will not start.

crank and cam sensor control spark timing and injector pulse.  id start there

Ifthe crank sensor was faulty wouldn't the tach not move when turning the key?  I get movement of the tach when I turn the key and the engine cranks...  ???

I bet it's the Crank position sensor...I dunno about the Tach, but like mrsteim1z24 said the CPS controls both, injector pulse and spark....Change the CPS and I bet it solves your problem...they are cheap enough that even if it doesn't fix it...it's good to replace it anyways...just be careful pulling it out of the block..they like to break easily...

Ok I'll replace it.  Thanks for the insight.  I know all about replacing the nasty old brittle POS crank sensor.  When I had the oil pan off I found two sensors in the pan from the previous repairs the people before me have done.  Thanks again.  I will cross my fingers when I hit the key after the R&R of this sensor.

CPS. 100%. Same crap mine did...twice. Same problem both times. Like $18 a sensor I believe.

Replaced the crankshaft sensor...  No change.
Why would the ECM all of a sudden just crap out?  It's less than 4 years old.

Hmmmmm....that is strange. Last time that happened to me I replaced the CPS and it fixed it...I also changed the ECM, ICM, coils, and alternator...guess I could've thrown those out too.

Check the connection at the ICM from the CPS.  I had mine pop off and caused the same symptoms as you.

Should have mentioned that first! sorry!

Changed ECM, no change.  Would a MAP sensor create a situation like this?

Have one person crank the car, while you look down the oil fill spot. You should be able to see a valve there. See if its moving...
