just wondering if anyone has any ideas on this

its a '91 beretta 3.1 auto

it stalls after driving ~20mins or so and it wont restart until its cooled off.

when it runs it runs fine and idles good.

sofar I've replaced:

ICM
CPS
tested coils were ok
all intake gaskets are new from the LIM up.
has a new heated o2 sensor
fuel filter
fuel pressure tested ok

Sounds like a bad ECM. I've also seen clogged fuel filters and fuel pump strainers do the same thing.   ;)

ok I think I found whats wrong. upon stalling and not restarting, the CPS reads 1325 ohms

per all data it should be between 900-1200 ohms

when it cools off it goes back down within range and starts

I bought a cheap CPS from autozone, guess I should of got one from GM?!

edit: I also tried the ECM off my z24 and no luck

be sure you don't have a cloging cat. convet. too.

When its stalls. Does it not give spark? Does the pump still work while cranking? Pressure with the gueage?

I think some of those models had a oil pressure switch that killed the fuel pump. Theyll go bad and leak oil and make them not read oil pressure. WHen this happens it kills the fuel pump. Check the sensor its around the oil filter with 3 wires going to it.
