fail emission and need help on how to make it pass Catalytic Converter

where do i get a replacement that would  help me pass emmission because i fail emission today but i got a cheap cat on the car that was put on by the previous owner its one of the magnaflow which i don't think it really dose much for the car please help thank you for your time

so far the car has got new plug and new wire and just put a new o2 sensor in there would a good cat help

Cleaning your EGR passages, making sure the EGR works, if not, replacing. Almost sounds like you have a stuck injector. But it could be a clogged cat.

Hows your turbo seals?  PCV replaced recently?

cross over pipe? is it original, if so, it may have cracks in it, actually its a garentee there are cracks, and it will make it run very rich and you will fail emmisions. I would purchase a Rebuilt one, either used or new, search around here for more on it
