can the 3.1 turbo ecm run the 3.4??? This might be the wrong place to put it. I have a camaro with a 3.4 I was just wondering if any of yall have tryed to put a 3.4 in yalls cars and run of the turbo 3.1 ecm. I found one of this cars is the junk yard and tought even about putting the whole turbo 3.1 engine in my car. Also the ecm. Any helpful hints I would be glad to know. Thanks I also know that the 3400 engine would be better upgrade then the 3.4 for yall. So yall may have never ran one

3.4 camaro engine is a rwd drivetrain interface.  It will not bolt to the bell housing of a fwd drivetrain without an adapter plate.  Further the 3400 will mate up and I have a friend who ran a 3400 and a 3100 using a gen 1 programming with turning.  Under boost that is a different story.  I think some of the cavalier guys are doing it.  Maybe someone on here has.  Check www.60degreev6.com, lots of info there.

you can run any GM 60* V6 on a 7730/7727 computer if the chip is made right... turbo or not.  Look for a guy w/ the name Forcedfirebird, his 3500 RWD turbo is pretty badass.

Auto or manual? You have a flashable ecm. Nothing even close to a TGP. The part # is on the ecm.  If it's a manual the part # is 16196397

I don't know if your car uses a distributor or if it uses coil packs. If it uses a distributor you can use a 730 ecm or a 727 ecm with the sy/ty code. If it uses coil packs you can use the TGP code but I don't know if your 3.4 has the 7x crank triger like the fwd cars
