Thank you for the bolt size...now dos anyone know how to remove the two snapped bolts from the IAC housing without removing the throttle body lol?

Most auto parts stores have EZ outs that go pretty damn small. they're rated by size, sizes 1-5, and on the package is the corresponding drill bit size for it. Although i may have a good 3.1 TB laying around if you don't have any luck with that!

And yea, here's a list of stuff with the TGP.

Idled like shit. Replaced the ORIGINAL plugs/wires, and it helped out a LOT. But i know the crossover is fkd, so that's probably a big problem, seeing as it's not holding exhaust pressure for shit.

Work needed:
Crossover
Driver's window is off track
Speakers have static sounds
hood has hail dents
Battery (doh)
Sunroof needs either adjusting or replacement, i think the motor's on it's way out the door.

The GOOD
Antenna is fully functional
Turbo shaft has damn near ZERO shaft play, i'm talking it might be like, half a millimeter,if that, i mean there's virtually none, just a HAIR bit.
Lip spoiler is still there and in good shape, needs repaint
doorhandles work and feel great
interior is in great shape
louvers are in perfect shape
Paints in good shape

That's all i can really think of now. Just went and drove it for about a mile or two after plugs/wires. I had to charge the battery for a bit (by hooking up another car with jumper cables and letting it idle there for about 5 - 10 minutes...LOL)

Oh, and cobra..yea i don't like the alarm horn. Soo..i took it off. lol. I'll be moving it lower once i figure out how the alarm is wired and if it still works.

The speaker noise may be related to the factory amplifier going bad...real common.

Thanks for the EZ out tip...I'll check out Advance here shortly.

If I remember correctly, it's been a while, its above the glovebox.

Just wire around it, cut before and after the box, and install wires where needed.

Does it whine at all or just crackle?

In my experience, both my TGP's had the same thing, and bypassing the amp fixed this.

The amp is pretty much right inline with the driver's information center. Just look up behind that area and you'll see it.

He's correct on the location, and that's what was bypassed...I don't know why I thought it was above the glovebox... :icon_redface:

Maybe it's just me, but every 1990 I've seen has the headlights sitting back just slightly than an 89...like the 89 lights sit right up front. Ok, I can't put it into words right, anyone know what I mean? Kinda like there's more space between the hood and lights and the front bumper and lights.
