I'm looking into getting a new set of wires for my TGP and I found a set of MSD 8.5mm wires.. what do you guys think of these wires?  Any better than AC Delco wires?

Top of the line for our cars,  I have a set that I bought after my POS Taylor wires were giving me all sorts of boosting issues. The spark wasn't strong enough and was being blown out.

Ok.  I found a set for $70 and was wondering if it was worth it over the $35 AC Delcos.
Thanks

Nick I have the same wires, and they are awesome. Purdy red? Definately. Great performance, you better believe it!

The Mags are the best!  I have the 8.5 mm.  Made of pure silicone and guaranteed for life!  I would stay away from the MSD wires I think a friend had a problem with them and then bought Mags and never looked back.  Get em the last pair of wires you will ever by for the 3.1 or in my case 2.8 :)

Personally I haven't had any problems, and I know of atleast two other street racers in town who use them, and haven't had problems with the wires. I'm not sure what happened with your friend's set :icon_neutral:

Magnecores is the way I went Nick, If TGPvsTIII (AKA Tim) tells me to go with something, I'm going with it. I usely take the word of a ASC certified Mechanic, They usely see more than we can.

So far, the cheapest set of Magnacore KV85 wires I've found is $123 :icon_eek:
Anyone know where I can find a better price on a set of them?

Hold up a sign that reads "Have Soul, Need Magnecores".

Meh I might just go with a new set of AC Delcos, they came factory on the car afterall, they can't be all that bad.  I can't afford a $123 set of wires at the moment.
