pieces in trans filter

looking inside pan and filter media, 33,000 miles since last service, 135,000 on tranny, never re-built.
found small amount of brass flakes, but also found pieces of white plastic. some big parts in pan lead me to think the part was
something like big white plastic washer, 4inch diamter, 2in hole.
Tranny is working fine, what could it have been?

Some of the thrust washers are plastic white nylon. The get brittle with age and start to break up. same with the brass stuff.
