any rebuild kits? or can a manual from a cavalier or baretta swap in with little work?

a rebuild kit for the automatic, or if the cavalier or baretta 5 speed will swap in... eather or, i just need a better tranny, and i might as well do it while i have the motor out...

Only w body 282 5 speeds can be put in out cars.......the mounting points are different than a cavalier

convert a z24 or beretta tranny to work with a grand prix, or a grand prix sub frame to work wit ha z24/beretta tranny... just curiouse, because i pritty much ahve not option if i want to go 5 speed...

I merged your new topic with the one from the other day since you're still basically discussing the same thing...

By the way, a lot of people here have used the standard 4T60 rebuild kits without an issue. Jud had a standard rebuild kit in his car that had a larger turbocharger & was running mid 13's in the 1/4 mile.
