well there is someone here who has done this ...he's running a Fast 1/4 time like 106 or something like that......

it depends on how loaded your car is.....sunroof ect....if its loaded and worth it then do it if not just buy a TGP/STE Turbo.......

You are going to have to switch the 2.8 computer out for the 3.1....unless you can get the 2.8 memcal programmed with the stock TGP code(I think Ben aka Vegeta(from the W-Body forums) done this for someone).....also the NA 3.1 computer is different from the TGP one.......hope this helps!!! sorry I don't know much else.....also, where did you get your TGP engine if ya don't mind me asking?

I hope the 1200 is rebuilt, i got an entire car in working condition (tgp) except for the coolant sensor and ecm for 575. If you could find a parts car or a tgp turbo setup (which usually run for around 500) you may be better off. Just my 0.02
Bty i have always wanted to do it myself.

I'm doing a Memcal conversion so i can keep the stock chip, and modify the egr wiring for boost bleedoff.

Get in touch with me, i'm 1/2 way done what your done,  the hardest parts getting the darned turbo on the motor without creating a HUGE project.

all w-body ecu's with 3.1 are identical even the TGP!  the only difference is the chip.  If you have the same ecu in your cav as the w-body 3.1L then all you need is a TGP chip.  It maybe hard to find one so why not just buy the upgraded chip from jeff m.  If you have a 5-speed then talk to tgpilot.
