Oh did I forget to mention my NEW TGP!!   I bought Ryan W's TGP after much thought and looking at it at least 3 times.  Ryan lives like 3 miles from me here in Binghamton.  I always wanted a TGP and after my latest engine failure on the white car I realized I really need 2 DD's ;)  Anyways this car will only be driven daily in the summer (winters will be for the white car).  Ryan did an excellent job fixing the mechanical issues and the car runs very good as it sits, there are still some issues to take care of but for the most part it is great and I'm driving it daily!  Here are somethings I have done to it so far!

-New battery (well used from my old parts car)
-Rebuilt front springs (perches were off a bit causing them to hit the inner wheel well)
-Alignment
-Fixed passenger door (front edge of the door was hitting the front fender making a horrible noise! Realigned the fender and body cladding)
-New receiver in the glove box to fix the radio hum (Still hums just not as bad, still needs another one when I find a 93 in the yard)
-Fixed Gauges (boost not working, low fuel light etc...)
-Pulled off lower valence and repainted (Duplicolor FTW!)
-Fixed parking brake
-New oil, Mobil 1 extended performance with a Mobil 1 filter
-Complete vac, shampoo, leather treatment, wash, claybar, compound, and topped it off with Natty's Red Wax and some tire shine ;)

Things needed to fix still:

-Replace oil pressure sending unit (oil pressure is way high when engine is cold, settles down when warm)
-Reshim starter (has high torque starter, think the shim is a bit too small sometimes gets hung on the flywheel)
-Fix AC  (Has R134A conversion but compressor does not kick on)
-Fix RKE (think it is the cold solder joint because with new batterys and keyfob/reprogram it still does not work)
-New radio receiver (again)
-Install my lower charge pipe with BOV
-Tune (runs rich because of the pink top injectors)

Does anyone know what flow rate the pink top injectors are?  That would help my tuning a bit to know where I'm starting ;)

Other than that she is a peach!  Not a spec of rust on even the exhaust!  There are a few chips and dings here and there, but it really cleaned up nice!  And only 42k on the clock  :icon_lol:  Oh and I like the auto!  This car is great PICTURES!

sorry for the dark pictures it gets dark FAST up here in NY now!

Not sure why everyone says they hate me, I figured you guys would be happy it went to an enthusiast who will care for it and keep it mint but whatever.

Ryan did a great job fixing the major stuff and lowering it, but I'm going to have to take credit for the cleaning and buffing since I spent 12 hours cleaning and detailing with my high speed buffer.  You would not believe the dirt and oxidation that came out of the paint after clay bar/poorboy's SSR1 on it.

Thanks GPChief for the feedback, I certainly will take good care of it.  My goal is to keep it as stock as possible for as long as possible and just enjoy it.  I really like this car, it is going to stink putting it away in a few weeks!

Agreed.

What does it have for tires?  They look lower profile than the standard 50 series.

Ken those pictures don't even do it justice man, especially the interior of the car, you did a fantastic job cleaning it up and making it look like it should.  It saddens me a little bit knowing that it's not mine anymore, I just can't find the time and don't hold the interest in it as I once did.  Seeing it as it should be though makes me happy that someones got it that will enjoy it (and not destroy it).  Maybe someday I will buy her back.   :icon_redface:

I'd never even seen the seats before until last night!!  Those buckets are MINT!  Looks great shiny too, I had it that shiny a couple of times, but parked it afterwards.

Hell of a job, I know you'll take good care of her, I have my memorabilia though, I did keep the California plate that came on it!!

Also, just for shits, I'm gonna recommend you paint the black trim on the headlights sometime.   ;)  needs it!!

dude the manifolds are still silver WTF???

cobracmdr

Thanks guys   I'm very happy, and the JEFF MMM Topgun 160 chip is pretty sweet, I wish I could tune that nice!  Must have taken some work to get it that way.

The manifolds are silver since Ryan painted them with oven paint!  It is starting to let go.  Hey anyone know a good vac source for my BOV? I can't seem to find a good source on these autos :)

T off at the MAP sensor, or the EVAP sensor next to it on the back of the manifold.  Yeah those manifolds got 6 coats of paint after a good sandblasting, they held up nice for a while.  Supposed to go up to 1200* and they were perfectly silver for many runs when first installed, but the winter time and sitting started to bring it back out.
