My friend was getting married in Portland, Maine last weekend so I figured what better way to celebrate than to take the new tgp:)  I got 28 MPG  :icon_eek: on the TG160 Tune with some modifications of my own of course :) I went down to the portland headlight house and took some pictures.   Enjoy, wish I could have gotten some shots when I was in Boston with it earlier in the week, I have put about 1200 miles on it with no issues so far  Almost time to put her away for the winter :(  This will probably be the last trip she will be on, unless I take her upstate NY this weekend  Enjoy!

That car looks incredible, and nice scenery as well. :icon_mrgreen: How does the car handle being lowered all around, etc.?

EDIT: By the way, you should posts some pictures on the w-body board to show off that sexy TGP!

MW I will later ;)  The car handles exceptionally well with those springs and the addco sway bar, it is really a peach to drive.  The ground clearance you have to be aware of, as well as big bumps at high speeds, the front tires do hit the bottom of the cladding (luckly you can't see it unless you head is inside the wheel well).  I think in the spring I'm going to put some KYB GR2 gas struts in the front instead of those monroe sensatracs, think the monroe's give too much on hard bumps which is causing the suspension to bottom out.  I'm sure the ride quality will be way harsh with a gas strut but I'd rather not lose the fender if I hit a crater on I-95

The car is so nice, I can't wait to do some tidy up stuff under the hood this winter.  I'm also planning to get the headliner redone, polish up the lip on the wheels to a mirror finish and a few other cosmetic things.

Cool man, hey does your birtrax creek around turns, mine is extra noisy I'm wondering if something is wrong back there.  It has the delrin spring blocks on rear suspension, I wonder if that is it.

I think that Birchmount spring will creak no matter what unless you grease it all the time. I seem to remember someone here or maybe at the other board posting about their spring creaking.

did he use stock inner rubber spring isolators?

I have the same white outer blocks and mine doesn't squeak

I'm not sure, I'll have to take a look back there this winter.........I have the stock monoleaf so I can always pull the bushings off and
reinstall them on there.

It is pretty noisy back there.......

got any pictures of what you are talking about just so I'm sure where to look?

For sure Adam we will get together next summer  :new_all_coholic: last time was a blast, I love the Mountains in NC It's my turn to drive down;) Maybe we can get a mini-meet together with Ike, Jim and a few others.  Now that would be cool.  We can go tear up Rockingham for a night and show those interga's whats up, except if you and your GF build one before then!

Black and grey would have been hot, but if the white car has an intersection with a deer I'll save the interior and sell it too you cheep for a conversion for your black car.  Oh I'm TGP crazy.

That spring has been creaky since I installed it, I had to cut the mid point rubber insulators off the stock monoloeaf so its entirely possible they are causing an issue.  I'm not sure though.  One thing for sure it is definitely stiff.
