Like you said, as much as it sucks cutting hole in the floor, you got to do what you got to do. and I don't it'll affect anything.  Just make sure to paint the hole so there is no chance of rust and you'll be good to go!

Well thats done, car drives SO much better now, it had to be done.... have faith in lowes 8.8 bolts!
