I had one of them in my Civic. It lasted more than a week.... twice that actually.  :icon_biggrin: I losened the adjustment on it, since it was barely opening, and the diaphram inside broke. I bought a real Greddy Type S and it works flawless. I have seen the HKS knock off and they work ok. Good luck

lol ok  thanx, I'll keep lookin and buy something real... lol

It's $30, you're not out a whole lot if it breaks in a week.  I have a knock off SSQV BOV that is 4 years old, been taken apart, put back together, still zero issues.  Some of these knock offs have gotten good, to the point where it's almost impossible to tell the difference between it and the real one, of course other than the "cool' name outrageous price

Prospeeder

Iv been lookin for a BOV as well, but im not gonna pay like 250 bucks for one, lol.

if you went with that imitation, even if it crapped out it looks like it is the exact same as the real one, and you could still use the same flange if you felt like going for the real deal eventually

Keep looking for a gen 1 DSM bov.  They can be had for cheap and work well.  I have one on my TGP.
