My TGP has been running like crap latley so I decided to start inspecting.  I took apart the whole Intercooler setup and right before my eyes  Oil poured out all over the place!!! I guess that tells me why my car smokes so bad and where my oil is going!!! Can someone please tell me what the hell is causing this major problem? Blown intake gasket? Blown head gasket? what the hell :?:

First thing to do is replace the return oil line to the Turbo, use very good hydraulic line, not fuel or radiator hose. I get it from a hydraulic shop, cost about $10 for a 14" piece.
If that doesn't do it, you're probably looking at a turbo rebuild, the center bearing is a floating oil unit so if it can't flow oil 'cause the return line is restricted, it pours out the shaft seals and thus fills the intercooler (and smokes also). You may even have plugged the catalytic converter (mine did) so clean the cooler and piping very good. I sloshed diesel fuel and then exhaust from my shop vac to clean it all out.
Hope this helps, others will probably have some more advice also.
If you need a turbo rebuild, I had a very good experience w/ Dallas Turbo, but others have used Majestic and others
