Im turning the piston and pushing in and its not going anywhere.  I also have the e brake cable off.  Do i have bad calipers?

You have to push real hard. Eventually it should catch and turn in.

The right side goes clockwise, the left side counter clockwise.

it may not go in cuz its damaged! i tried with the tool for 1 1/2 the i said f-it took it apart and found out it was messed up so I just got another.  If i was you i would do the larger caliper/rotor swap.  This braking system is garbage IMO!

GM has a defect in the rear brakes i'm not to sure what years but they will never turn back in. I sent a day trying with everything and nothing. But now we have learn and get the calpair replaced. Gm was sued over this and I got $60.00 even though he sent $600.00
