Can I use these transmissions?

 I read online that 4t60 transmissions are in 84-90 cars. Even though they dont have the extra spring and rerouted TTC wires, will they work ok in our cars. I am thinking about using one while I rebuild mine.

technically there called the 44T04 transmission

Yes you can. I had one that was remanufactured by gm and it lasted for a good little bit considering what it had to put up with...
