just out of curiosity, if i go with 2001+ 3400 ported heads/intakes on my 2.8 fwd, if i made twin turbo exhaust manifolds for it to run 2 of the turbos that come stock on 1st gen eclipses (i believe they are called t25?) seeing as to how small this engine is, would this create way too much lag?

Probably not too much lag. I have a 2.8 with 3400 top end and cam, and it spools pretty much right away with the TGP's T25. I would imagine that with a twin turbo setup you'd still be fine.

The most important question is, where are you going to fit a twin turbo setup in a J-body? I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's going to be real tough to stuff the two turbos and all the piping under the hood.
Just your average 88 GP with a 2800 hybrid, Getrag 282 and GT3271.

no kidding, the j-bodies are really cramped with a V6 in there period.

very true but i can find a way ;)

for starters i wouldnt have a cam, thatd be an addition down the road. do you guys think theres any way with 9.5:1 CR & 2 t25's or whatnot, that i can push 300 wheel horse without beefing the crap outta the bottom end?

im either going S/C or TT because i want something small with tons of power & that people have never seen anything like (you ever seen a tt 60* 2.8 or a s/c'd one? neither have i), and id like to push 250 without a cam or 300 horse with one & i figure these turbos will flow more than enough air for this, but with only 1.4 liters of 2 valve 3 cylinder be enough to push even that small of a turbo, & what rpm do you guys think this thing would spool?
