2004 GTP -  3.8 Blown - Only modding for MPG.
1997 GTP  - 3.8 Blown - Too many mods to list.
1996 GTP - 3.4 DOHC - Twin to my 1997.
1995 SE - soon to be a 3.8 turbo car.

Yes, I sand blasted everything with fine sand and then painted it with 2000+ deg paint. I have driven 100 miles so far and it has not burned off yet..  :icon_eek:

What color paint did you use Adam? That looks pretty nice.

It is cast aluminum 2000+ deg. I have driven over 300 miles and it has not burned off yet.

I just bought the Ebay tgp. I guess I should investigate all that paperwork that came with it, then put it in safe place!

Well after 500 miles or so the turbo puked...   :icon_frown:   So what next, go ball bearing or build a monster journal bearing turbo.???   :icon_evil:

Yes, The previous owner rebuilt it and it looks like the balance was not retained...  Both the wheels rubbed pretty bad and the bearings spun in the center.    :icon_frown:

Well, yesterday I sent out the turbine housing and center section to be machined for the larger wheels. I ordered a 76mm compressor wheel with the 54 trim (gt2876r) and a huge 60mm turbine shaft/wheel with the 90 trim(gt3076r). I also got a polished compressor housing and a minor rebuild kit with a 360 thrust. Everything should be ready for assembly next week, I will post some pics then...   :icon_biggrin:
