Ok guys I need an answer to this. I just tore off my side cover where the TCC body is. I found 1 bolt just put in the hole and another one threaded in about halfway. I know that they should be tight, but need some reassurance on this HAHA. Thanks guys

I wonder if that had anything to do with it failing? I lost 3rd and 4th gear and if it wasnt sealed right then maybe my clutches were not engaging completely. I couldnt believe I saw that, I guess someone was in there doing something(maybe a rebuild) and forgot to tighten those down. Yippy for me.

OK so here is a bad update. Had the trans rebuilt by neighbor who has rebuilt trans in the past and is certified. Well put it in the other day and put it in gear and nothing??? I mean nothing all it does is a low growl in park and nuetral. I checked line pressure and it seems it is good all but 1st gear. In 1st it is lower then the rest, and it should be higher. And also dont know if it is related, but it seems that the throttle is not responsive like it was before the rebuild. I rev the throttle and it seems like it doesnt rev up that good. I checked line pressure, adjusted TV cable, checked fluid level, and everything I could look at without tearing it apart again. Does anyone have any suggestions for me. Oh and there is no SES light.

Either a seal is torn, missing, or out of aligned.  Time to go back in and have a look see.

Where / what rebuild kit did you get?  When I rebuilt mine it was several hundred dollars and had 11 upgrades that we applied during the upgrade.

did you make sure the torque converter clicked 3 times when you installed it?

Ok guys here is a new update. I took the pan down and the accumulator housing and tubes off. And found that both of those gaskets had tears around the bolt holes. I used a little little bit of rtv around the tears and put it back together and woohooo it moves now. Drove it around 2 miles and seems ok. Now on Monday I will order those gaskets and change filter and fluid again. Still have to adjust the modulator valve, but it shifts real good. And the kit I got was from Lakes Transmissions.
                                      Thanks alot guys,

Yeah me to. Now the bigger question what else can go wrong with this car. No matter what it is I will continue to fix it and like doing so. HAHA
