just like it says... lucky i was only a half mile from my house.   i guess the battery died somehow when i was driving it and shut off...so i coasted on to a side road and parked.  acts like it wants to crank back up but is obvously dead...just clicks.  i had a tach mounted over the cluster so i didnt notice a battery light if it was on... alternator was replaced last year, battery was replaced then as well. any ideas?

well you need to figure out whats up, a battery and alternator can fail/be defective after one year easily, also connection issues woudl be your next step.

changed the battery and it worked, volt meter says 13.7 volts so i guess the alt is working... i had the car sitting apart about 3 times since i bought the batter last october.  now whats strange when all this happend the horn stopped working, horn fuse was blown, changed it , still doesnt work.  all you hear is a little peep but its not working.

I had the same thing happen while I was stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on the BQE. Coasted to the side of the road and no crank at all. Luckily I had a jump pack in the trunk and the car started right up. Got home and shut it off and it started right back up no problems. Only contributing factor is the AC was on and i was in bumper to bumper traffic for miles???

yea it was just an odd occurance, the car hasnt had a problem starting and driving since i changed the battery. horn still doesnt work.
