oil inlet fitting size? need help!

I have this turbo:

here is the oil inlet:



I cant for the life of me figure out what the thread is. I first ordered a 7/16 -24 since that seemed to match the measurement, and I found a few people using that size. its too loose

so I posted about it on another forum and was told most turbos are 1/8" NPT. thats even smaller?

I emailed the company I bought it from twice, no reply

can anyone help?!?!

Got any fastener stores or machine shops nearby? If so, they probably have something that can tell you exactly what it is.

Maybe try calling a local Fastenal(sell tons of fasteners/fittings, etc.) since they're located all over. http://www.fastenal.com


EDIT: 1/8th NPT is approximately 13/32'' diameter for what it's worth.

thanks for the reply. I'm going to get a couple random NPT pieces and test fit them

I'm leaning torwards 1/4" NPT. I'll post the verdict incase anyone else runs into this in the future.

its cost me 10 days without boost on my new setup sofar over this 1 fitting! :(
