Meth vrs 110 LL

Putting the cost of the fluid aside, but keeping the initial start up cost in mind...  Lets get this out there on the debate wagon.

I've been running 110 LL for a while now and a few people have suggested running pump 93 with alky or meth instead saying it was better....  I asked them to tell me more than I already, and I was left with no more new information. 

What I DONT know is the capable power of the two.
I know roughly that where I am now is about all I can do before it shows detonation and power just doesn't tilt in any more like I'd want it too.

So the question is, how much is there to gain using 93 pump with meth/alky than 110 LL ?  Think 50 HP could be easily obtainable or will it require changing the tune drastically and possibly not return the spent money as much as one would have hoped?
