Original Head Gasket Material?

I was tearing my motor down and discovered that the head gasket material was copper core with fiber. Does anyone know where I can get these again since the felpro examples look chumpy compared to what I took off. Any advice would be appreciated.

buy some from GM, there not that much more really.

I already have the head gaslkets and I replaced them I just was wondering what the originals were?

I just paid $178 for a pair. The salesman said the part # for the vin T was the same as the vin V...  :icon_eek:

uhhh yea they have the same headgasket, there the same engine, lol.

I was just trying to figure out how my car got copper core gaskets but I guess its no big deal

Possibly a different supplier over the years? McLaren put these things together didnt they? Maybe they had there own supplier for it?
