Ok first off im new to this forum, I currently own a 91' Chevy beretta with a 3.1. So i been hearing alot about tgp's so i decided too research it and found this site. I know everyone keeps saying just slap a 3400 in it and call it a day, But i figure i like the 3.1, never gave me any real problems.

So my question to you guys and girls. Where would i find good parts like cam, crank, rods and should i bore it over for a little more power. Basically could you point me in a direction of what the stock bottom end has too offer for the tgp?

There are virtually no real differences in the bottom end of a 3.1 Turbo versus a N/A 3.1.  Others have turboed their N/A 3.1 with no issues.

bottom end has very little difference, your NA 3.1 will actually make more power because of increased compression.  If you are looking for a cam i would recommend the Crane H260.  Many members have used it with very good results.  Find someone who has basically a 3.1 turbo kit (Turbo, manifolds, crossover, intercooler, and all the piping) and make it fit your beretta.  IIRC someone else has made a turbo 3.1 beretta so it can be done with enough patience.

Yeah, I just couldn't figure out a way to work in the one member who claimed that adding a valance to his lightbulb kept it from overheating...

I went from a TGP platform to a Beretta platform.
I had to make everything pretty much custom fit since I am using the old style trans mount.  Tuning is same concept and the car is quicker since it is no longer pulling the weight of a Whale body.  I did make 95% everything "undo-able"  JUST in case I change plans or wake up and want to go back to RWD fun and need a DD again.  lol

But to be truly honest, the only thing that is similar on my Beretta to the TGP now, is the ....... uhhhhh  Welp nothing!  Things are ported, polished, custom fabricated etc etc.  Getting to the point where I am starting to find myself spending 10X more cash to go faster and keeping it streetable.
