When I was taking my engine apart,  I snapped a long bolt that connects the front and rear exhaust manifolds to the crossover pipe.  I did use the search button and couldn't find any info on the bolt size and I am curious if any of you happen to the GM Part number or the bolt size.  All 4 were rusty and tough to get off, I got the other 3 out though all in one piece.  I also snapped 2 of the 5 bolts that connect the downpipe to the turbo, I found the GM part number for those, it should be lots of fun "digging" the other 1/3 of the bolt out of the turbo housing.  :icon_sad:  If anyone has info for me I would REALLY appreciate it, thanks guys.

pretty common for the manifolds,  heat them up til they are glowing and they will back right out with a pair of pliers.  The thread i know is standard.... i just went to lowes and grabbed 8.8 grade bolts.

Thanks for your help, I was hoping they were a standard size bolt and not a hard to find dimension one.

I know this thread is old but this is why there is this section for you to read and find out what others did to fix their TGP's. The bolts in question are metric ,they are 8mm x 1.25mm thread pitch x 25mm long minium thread grade of 8.8 . do not use any lesser grare as they will not stand up to the heat and repeated stress of heating and cooling. cadnium plated bolts can be found at Lowes or Homedepot or go to the junkyard and pull them off almost any latemodel car just take a sample bolt with you for comparrison.
