installed a cone filter today got pics

I got a cone filter today and installed it. it's a universal filter cost me $24.99 at advanced autoparts.
I made this adapter cost me $2.50 at the hardware store.
attached it to the filter then to the factory turbo intake hose.
thats it installed. all together it cost me around (I bought a little filter for the oil breather too)$40.00.  works great.

if you are using P.V.C. pipe you should take it out! P.V.C. is hot made for high temp heat. you should a medal tube that they use like for exhuast and cut it to size they come in all sizes and shapes. You can pick it up at any car part store

I have used that ABS pipe in many different cars and never had a problem. Plastic doesn't melt until over 275 degrees. I doubt that it will get that hot just from warm air under the hood.

Even when warmed PVC releases a gas, but I don't believe has been proven or disproven to affect an engine.  I would never use PVC though.

That may be true but that is ABS pipe not PVC. PVC is a tubing not a solid pipe.
