Bad Economy

What is everyone else doing in these crappy times for investing?  We sold everything and are just sitting on our savings now.
2004 GTP -  3.8 Blown - Only modding for MPG.
1997 GTP  - 3.8 Blown - Too many mods to list.
1996 GTP - 3.4 DOHC - Twin to my 1997.
1995 SE - soon to be a 3.8 turbo car.
1990 TSTE x 2 white cloth
1990 TSTE x 1 maroon leather
1990 TGP - 5 speed.

Doing the exact same thing. Got tired of contributing money each year, losing money each year, but watching my broker send his kids to the best schools and drive the best cars etc. Cash is king in uncertain times. I feel sorry for the people "buying" gold. If its not in your safe or your attic or in your physical presence you don't "own" shlt when it hits the fan. The only thing that will be worth less than american dollars are certificates saying you own gold...........

There is a grim outlook on our economic situation for the USA and more than likely it will get worse over the next few years.  After that n about 5-15 years the economy will slightly recover and restructure but will be more cautious with new investments  blablabla.... :icon_razz: I seem to have found money other places I had never looked before and that alone keeps me busy...

Wish I can get a  starter home to rent out and open up a medium duty shop like Chevy c7500 and Isuzu NPRs, Nissan UDs. I work at a diesel repair shop and the return on investment is higher on medium vs the heavyduty trucks.
