Tach and spedo are not reading correctly.HUD speed is correct though. engine idles to high most of the time.any help would be greatly welcome.I am trying to collect/save the later model muscle cars that were turbo equiped befor they vanish. That's a load full there.
1. Currently no. Have it re/fabricated.
2. No. You'd have to make yourown.
3. There some guys here that can flash a chip for you but you'd be having to copy their setup. Or a Top Gun chip type tune.
4. The GT28rs type turbos will bolt up with some minor work as far as bolton.
5.Hypertech Powerstat don't know the number
6. I doubt it. If your changing the turbo, then weld a bung on the down pipe and use a 4 wire heated O2 sensor. Stock location of o2 is hard on cheap o2 sensors.
7. Don't beat on the trans too much. Don't gun it in 4th. Don't run Fuel injector cleaner, try some ATF in the tank if you think your injectors are sticking/clogging.
Search for Chris aldrige for post about instrument cluster repair. Theres some resoldering involved.
It's a turbo engine so check for blown vacume hoses and sticking IAC, leaking fuel pressure regulator.
WHERE is the Pontiac Fire fly turbo haha.  J/K That's a huge list.
Turbocharged 88 IMSA Beretta GTX <-dam stright.
90 ASC/McLaren Black TGP.

Powermaster slowed my progress like I was piloting the Queen Mary herself--

thanks for the input.can anyone give me info on the 28gtrs turbo.where to get one.what kind of mods to make it work

killinprixs

I believe you will have to drill out the threads in stock crossover and use nuts and bolts with the GT28rs.  I wouldnt recommend using the stock downpipe as it is about 1.75" ID at its smallest point!
