Right now I'm on the line. I could sell all of the parts and grab an l67 and HD tranny, which I actually know about, or finish through with this idea. I think the turbo would be really fun, but if I build this motor only to have it blow up after one run down the track I won't be a happy camper.  Decisions decisions....

L67's are notoriously difficult to swap into cars originally equipped with the 2.8/3.1/3.4 engines... ask "extremerevolution" and "BXX" on W-body.com about it.

It can be done, but it is a lot of work.

Really, I always thought they bolted up decently. Then again they said the supercharged top swap for my monte was easy too. It wasnt easy haha.

If I remember correctly, bolting it into the engine bay is the easy part and getting the wiring and stuff sorted out is the notoriously hard part.

Something about needing the ECU from the exact same year as the engine... and something else about needing a particular wiring harness to make things work.

I wouldn't be too worried about it. I wouldn't care if my stock dash worked, I would just add in all aftermarket gauges. This is one hell of a decision. Especially with all of my other stuff around that needs work.

Whatever works for you.  :icon_cool:
Good luck deciding what to do.
