All right, I have a plan but need to know what you guys think; how many would be interested; and what you would favor on this!

First a little (I promise) story. When I bought my first/new TGP back in 1990 I noticed a large 2 foot by 3 foot full color Red TGP Poster on the wall of the dealer. It looked awesome and I ask the salesman to let me know when they take it down (yea right, he never called me!!) and I would buy it. Since that fell threw I have always kept my eye out for another, and I did and scored a new poster (see copy here but know this poster is pristine and shows even better than the pic can do justice!!!). Now, since there are so few of these, and I noticed on eBay lots of people buying those little red TGP adds etc, that there was a good chance that others would love to frame and hang this monster on their garage wall/office wall/where ever. For me to do this, the trick I found was in getting a worthy copy made of these that was equal to the original, and after some research found the poster needed to be made into an EPP File (Electronic Pre-Press), and this is a big job to do, and it would run over $2,000, plus the cost to run this on a 4 color press and make a few hundred copies. Well good thing I spend all my life doing things for others as it ended up that I did the owner of this print shop enough jobs/favors etc that he is willing to help me/us out now (just for you all to know, I did a lot of work to get to this level of favor!). Once I get this file to an EPP format, will see what options there are to change the header from just "Grand Prix", to something more appropriate like "McLaren Turbo Grand Prix" unless there is a better suggestion?). Since those that have known me since 1995 when I first got on the net and committed to helping what is now over 2,000+ TGP owners, and know that I do this as an overgrown hobby for others, that this is just my typical help (which was always free) and my parts (sold at a huge discount) that am just looking to cover my time and effort on these posters, but I want to get these out for people to enjoy!! And to that affect, I will be going again to visit my contacts at McLaren in Michigan (my original home state) and am looking to have the then President of McLaren when the TGP was done, Wiley McCoy sign this poster/poster copies (he offered to have me visit again and go over the files and sign this/these posters). BUT I need to know if people want an originally signed version (I don't expect him to spend all day signing a lot of these!!) or a perfect looking copy with his signature, or a perfect copy and no signature!! And just to make it clear, if the votes are in favor for an original with no signatures then that makes it easier to get printed and to get original "signed" posters. If some people want a copy of the poster with signature, then all will be that way. Why I say this is since it costs so much to make a EPP file for just one of these big prints, I cannot afford/do not have enough time to do that many more favors for this guy, to make 2 EPP files with one copied without signature, and one copied with signature.

Check out the Poster Pic at the first page of this web site (yes its the Red TGP) to get an idea and yes, this is not a perfect pic that has a little darkness on the right side, BUT the original is perfect in every ways.

So make your vote, like all my projects, it will take a little time to complete all the printing and visits to get these made up but I need to know ahead of time what everyone's thoughts are before I commit my time.

So, take your time voting, I need this Sticky/Poll to be here a while so that all those less frequented visitors are able to catch this and add their vote. If someone knows of another place to list this voting then feel free to copy and stick it where ever (just let me know so I can check the totals . Also many thanks to Shawn L for getting me a good picture of this and spending a lot of time getting it nice and clean so everyone can see here what this poster is all about!!!

Thanks guys (and gals?) for voting and your feedback (if you have some) for now, keep it coming.  Now as this evolves I can see additional things for me to do, such as add a folder to my Outlook Express (I already have over 50 folders keeping tract of TGP related help, fixes, projects etc) to keep the email of those that showed interest in these posters, SO IF YOU ALL DON?T MIND, shoot me an email from the turbograndprix web site and it will get to me so I can keep tract of your email and poster interest and will let you all know when that time comes that these are ready!!!!

Thanks again.
