try stopping with your emergency brake only and see if the motor still stalls. Don't think the stalling is your brake switch although they are a piece of crap.

I got the SES light one day out of the blue, and i due belive it said something about the switch. I was wondering if this could be the cause of my anti-lock light. Also how much are the switches? Thanks

The brake light switches are only $20 or so and available aftermarket from most parts stores. The recall may have been done but for the hassle I'd just buy a new one.

It could cause your stalling, though I'm not too familiar with the problem. I think it will only cause stalling AS you are coming to a stop, not while you are stopped. There are also a few other things that can cause this.

Well, I have the same problem.  The thing is that I replaced that switch a  year or so ago, and it still does it, but there is a possiblity that I didn't do it the right way.  Any tips?  How bout the modulator on the tranny?  I've already done the ECM a few years back.

It doesn't run anymore.

stalling when coming to a stop I have just about narrowed down to

#1 injectors
#2 crank sensor
#3 lock-up solenoid<------ where the hell is this???  I never found it

if the injectors are bad you will stall at idle in park,  you will also stall at idle in drive with out the gas applied.  Dealer told me it was the ECU ---->fukers<--- it wasn't.  Vac modulator will not cause the car to cut off but it will cause jerky shifts, or lazy shifts if not adjusted right.  I suggest about 4-6 turns ( I did 6 turns on the adjustable).

Could be a few things, look at TPS, dirty TB, Pintle controller(IAS), loose/cracked/ broken hard vac lines. Good luck

Lockup solenoid is inside the trans on the back of the valve body. Its located under the side pan to the bottom of the VB.  Quite involved to service in the car.
