The Title explains the problem for itself. When I put on brakes the lights in my car dim as the pump cycles. When there is nothing on you can hear the fuel pump slow then resume slow up then resume. I had the charging system put on a meter and it charges around 13.8 under load. I am thinking about placing connecting body grounds around the engine compartment (not from the motor to the body of couse). Has anyone ever experienced this problem and have been successful in curing it :?

Never had this problem, but with the current the pump draws I wouldn't be surprised if the lights dimmed. Also is the brake lights drawing current too.

If it sounds incredibly abnormal, and you haven't replaced the pump motor, you could probably put an amp meter on it to see what its drawing. I don't know what normal would be but it might help. The slowing sound is somewhat normal as it builds pressure back up, but you will probably be able to judge this yourself.
