OK, I got my new tires on today and now when I turn left the passenger side tire rubs. Would this be cause by worn springs? I know it's not the struts. They are only about 5 months old. Where can I get springs other than a dealer or is that the only place? What should I expect to pay? Thanks.

You can get front lowering springs from www.JCWhitney.com

Look for the 92-96 Lumina/Monte Carlo front springs. It's only $80.

Also check to see if your car is aligned properly. A bad alignment could cause the rubbing.

When I got the new struts put on I got a 4 wheel alignment. I got new tires about a month ago. I was outside working on the cutlass and happened to look at the front end of the TGP. With the wheel straight one tire will be straight and the other is turned a little. One of my friends is going to put it on the lift and check everything out and if all is ok then I'll get the front end aligned again.

mine does that too. I think the molding is slighty bent on that side i will have to try flatening it.

When I got my car it had 60 series tires and it didn't rub, now it has 245 50zr16s and it does rub on the passenger side. I want to lower it but dont want it to rub.
