Since I cannot find the AC Delco # 8s, what other spark plugs are good for a TGP.  Are the non-platnium plugs for normal 3.1s good?  I would like to do a tune up in the next week or two.

I personally run platinum in just about everything, and have very good results. I have not had the TGP long, but part of it's problem was plugs/wires, and in w/ the Bosch Plat's, major improvement.

Hope this helps

Everyone I talk to saysplatinum plugs are not good for forced induction motors. I would try bosch coppers.

The owner's manual Turbo supplement and the service manual Turbo supplement both say ACDelco R42LTS.  If they are good enough for the showroom factory original plugs then I think they are still good enough for me 12 years later.  I went into town and no one had them in stock, not even GM Dealer, I'm sure it's an oddball turbo plug.  Except Advanced Auto Parts had one last pack of 8, for $1.34 a piece!!  I bought the whole pack (always good to have 1 or 2 extras).  I haven't put them in yet so I can't say how it went but you know the plug will work well at least if GM built the TGPs with them..
