I'm looking at the all the converters out there and what is everyone buying.  Random Technologies 8000? 8100? 9000?  Catco?  What length?  They all sound good I would just like to know if people have had better luck with one over others?  Thanks.

I'd get a CarSound cat from www.mandsproduction.com It'll outflow the Random Tech cats. Only $100 too.

Am I right that the TGP has 2.5 inch in and out for the cat?

I think it has 2 1/4 stock exhaust. But you can have the exhaust shop make reducers for the new cat. A reducer is a peice of exhaust pipe that is large on one end [2 1/2"] and shorter on the other end [2 1/4"]. I would go with a 2 1/2" cat.

The TGP exhaust is 2 1/4" OD pipe.  :D

Is there an advantage with going with the 2.5 inch cat as opposed to the 2.25?  It seems like the extra hassle of getting reducers put on the cat wouldn't be worth it.  Wouldn't it be better to get the 2.25 that would weld right in?

Well..in theory...a 2.5 inch cat would flow better. But if the rest of the exhaust is 2.25, then that really wouldn't matter. A 2.5 inch cat would slip right over the exisiting exhaust though.  :)
