Some other questions i have for TGP owners.

Is the suspension the same on a TGP as on the Cutlas FE3?
in other words will the shocks and struts from that cutlas be the ones i buy for my TGP?

the tranny... is there another GM vehicle that uses the same tranny. if not what do i tell a shop if i ever get it rebuilt?

other than that all i wanted to know was the above post on rebuilding an engine. but hopefully Jeff M can answer me that one Thanks guys.

First of all..in your sig..first TGP in Canada...I don't think so. I'm pretty sure Jeff M has mentioned that he has other TGP X-over pipe customers in Canada  :P

As far as the tranny goes, there are many parts that are TGP specific. The only other car that used the tranny was the Turbo STE..and good luck finding one from that car! Jeff M has a tranny rebuild kit that includes all the parts needed to rebulid a TGP tranny (somewhere around $900 I think), so that would be your best bet as most shops aren't aware that the TGP trannies are different.

To answer your suspension question..I have no clue, since I know squat about cutty models.  :?
