I removed the cluster to clean/replace bulbs and polish the plastic window. After re-installing (done this before) I let the car idle, and the guages slowly crept up to the max on water temp and easily half way up on the others.. After shutting down, I unplugged the left side connector and the guages stayed frozen. During idle, the yellow ABS lite was flashing, hopefully indicating just the accumulator is going.  The pump goes on only for a few seconds when the pedal is applied. Any ideas on the electrical problem?

Have you re-soldered the joints on the back of the cluster?
