Title: TGP Spark plugs same as stock 3.1?
Post by: domenicz24 on May 25, 2003, 10:30:49 AM
Hi everyone.  Quick question.  Are the spark plugs that the TGP uses the same as the stock 3.1L engines?  I  was curious  as I am about to purchase a set from GM for my turbo engine.  thanks for any info.

Right off hand I'm not sure, but if you want I have a set of new plugs for a 3.1 I bought for a 90 Lumina I had b4 but never installed.  You can have them for free.  I also am in the Dallas area, down in Cedar Hill if you want to pick them up.  Lemme know.  I have 2 TGP's , mint and non-mint, with the non mint for sale.  Post here or PM me.

Mike, that's awesome, thansk for the offer, I jsut read online they are different, different delco part numbers too.  Curtis Walker (www.turboz24.com) and I would love to see both of your TGP's.  We didn't know of any TGP owners in the Dallas area.

I'll call you.  There is one other guy who occassionally posts here in DFW.
The guy I bought my mint from posted here a couple times when selling it.
I have seen quite a # of TGP's over the years here, but I guess there either not computer literate or too good for msg boards.  There is a TGP in the auto-trader here that is owned by a doctor, (Using a Pic of Jeff M. TGP) :? .  I bought mine from a rich doctor type.
