What do you guys think? Could this have been a little harmful to performance? lol... I have tried getting this plug out about 6 times and I finally got it out today. This thing looks like it might be one of the original plugs. The gap on it was around .060. Just a tad too much. Now I finally have all new Accel plugs gapped to .035. Runs sooooo much better.

Yeah, it would probably have hurt. Chances are though, if it was tough to get out, then it broke on removal. But at any rate the gap would be detrimental to performance....
Or it could have been a rehtorical question.

Actually the plug was cracked and was missing a small piece before i tried removing it. The rest came off when I was messing with it.
And yes I was being a smart ass with that question.
I noticed you all are gapping your spark plugs at .30 or .35, why? Does it give increased performance? And if it does are their any downsides to doing that? I might replace mine and would like to know if i should change it from the factory .45. Thanks in Advance,

There's no downside to it, it helps it keep from missing under boost, especially if you have a chip. On a larger gap, the flame kernel from the spark will blow out. So I recommend .035. I would DEFINITELY change it from .045
